How do I start tracking my expenses?
Simply open Flow, tap the "+" button to add a new expense, select a category, enter the amount, and optionally add notes. Your transaction is instantly saved and included in your analytics.
How do I set up a budget?
Go to the Budgets section, tap "Create Budget," choose a category (like Food, Entertainment, Shopping), set your spending limit, and select the time period (weekly or monthly). Flow will track your spending and alert you when you're getting close to your limit.
Can I track different types of expenses?
Yes! Flow supports all expense types:
- Daily expenses (food, coffee, transport)
- Bills and subscriptions (streaming, phone, utilities)
- Shopping and entertainment
- Custom categories you create
- One-time and recurring expenses
How do I manage my Flow subscription?
For iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Flow
For Android: Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Flow
You can also use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app if you've switched devices.
How does the spending analytics feature work?
Flow analyzes your expense data to provide insights:

Does Flow access my bank account or credit cards?
No! Flow only tracks information you manually enter. We do not access your bank accounts, credit cards, or payment methods. You have complete control over what data is tracked.

When you create a budget, Flow monitors your spending in that category. You'll receive notifications when you:
- Reach 50% of your budget
- Reach 80% of your budget
- Exceed your budget limit
- You can customize these thresholds in settings
Can I set savings goals?
Yes! Flow Premium allows you to create multiple savings goals:
- Set a target amount and deadline
- Track your progress with visual indicators
- Log contributions toward your goal
- Get motivational reminders
- Examples: Emergency fund, vacation, new phone, concert tickets
How do I cancel my Flow subscription?
You can cancel anytime through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Flow > Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Flow > Cancel
You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I export my financial data?
Yes! Flow Premium allows you to export your expense data and spending reports in CSV format for use in spreadsheets or other financial tools.
Can I track income as well as expenses?
Yes! Flow allows you to track both income and expenses. You can log salary, freelance payments, side hustle earnings, and any other income sources to get a complete picture of your finances.
Technical Support
The app is not sending budget alerts
- Check that notifications are enabled in your device settings for Flow
- Verify that Do Not Disturb mode isn't blocking notifications
- Ensure your budgets are set up correctly with proper amounts

Account & Subscription Support
I was charged but don't have premium features

- Check that you're using the same device where the purchase was made
- Wait a few minutes as it may take time to process
If this doesn't work, contact us with your purchase receipt.
How do I get a refund?
